On this day, the Workshop for the Identification of Problems and Solutions in the Tourism Sector was held, with the aim of identifying the main drawbacks that pertain to each sub-sector in its area and also seeking to provide a prompt solution to them.

The working table is made up of the Ministry of Tourism, Corsatur, ISTU, the Environment and the Ministry of Economy; and as representatives of the private sector participate: CASATUR, ASATUR, Association of Restaurants and Hotels, tourist guides and tourist transport. 

Felipe Rivas, Consultant of the International Labor Organization (ILO), commented: "This methodology of the Ministry of Tourism is being implemented at the Latin American level by the ILO and it is giving good results because it is a methodology that involves the public and private sectors and allows there to be good coordination and thus achieve the solution of problems” 

He also added that there is a specialized technical team that will be in charge of following up on these problems.
