What is
Miss Tourism?

Miss Tourism is an exhibition window for national tourism in our country. It is an event that will promote tourist destinations in El Salvador through a format that is attractive and receptive to Salvadorans.

Miss Tourism El Salvador 2022 will gather talent, beauty and a lot of information related to the destinations, we will know through this event hidden paradises of our beloved El Salvador.

Participation requirements

  1. Candidates must prove some current activity (work, study or some other link), which allows us to add their information to the registration form.

  2. The candidate must be between 18 and 26 years of age.

  3. Candidates must be single and without children.

  4. All candidates selected in casting must participate until the end of the contest or until they are eliminated by the jury, except for duly substantiated reasons of force majeure.

Registration requirements

  • You must fill out the corresponding form, with the information required to start the registration.

  • Candidates must attach to the form a video of30 seconds maximumwith the following information:

  1. 00:10 s. for the personal presentation of the participant.​

  2. 12:20 p.m. to tell us why they want to represent that tourist destination, to tell us a little about the place and why you have to visit it.

  • Salvadoran by birth

The Contest

Each Participant must be focused from the casting election to comply with the preparation ofThe Final Gala.

The Final Gala

The day will be doneTuesday, July 26, 2022 at 6:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Salvador.
The candidate must be 6 hours before the Gala accompanied by a family member and only with what is necessary.
The order of presentation of the candidates will be carried out after a lottery.


The parade will be held in 3 parts:​

  • In traditional dress

  • in fancy dress

  • in gala dress

Jury

The jury is appointed by the commission of the Miss Tourism El Salvador 2022 pageant, committed to acting with total independence, freedom and transparency in their decision.

Each contestant will be evaluated in six equal categories: Punctuality, Miss Tourism Form, Personal Interview, Fantasy Dress and Evening Dress.


PUNTUALITY

Throughout the week our delegated Staff will be aware of the "punctuality" of each contestant and will qualify them prior to the Final Gala.


TOURISM FORM

Each participant has to talk about Tourism, Culture, Heritage about their Municipality and a panel of judges will judge their presentation. The winner of the Forum will be announced on the final night and will receive an additional bonus point on their scores.


PERSONAL INTERVIEW

The judging team will interview each candidate to learn about their successes, goals and ambitions. The focus is on her ability to communicate, her self-confidence, and her charm.


NIGHT DRESS

Each delegate will wear a dress of her choice and the judges will judge her overall appearance, charm, elegance and sense of style and the beauty she brings to the dress.


FANTASY DRESS

Here the judges will focus on her catwalk, charm, glamor and style in presenting her fantasy outfit.
